Wan IP/NAT Detection

Important Note: As of version 2.70 of the LanScape VOIP Media Proxy®, WAN IP/NAT detection is not supported. The LanScape VOIP Media Proxy® must be deployed behind the same firewall or router in a private network as the LanScape Centrex Proxy Server®. If deploying in a private network, then appropriate DMZ techniques or router port forwarding configurations must be adhered to.

If the LanScape Centrex Proxy Server® is deployed in the global IP address space (internet), the LanScape VOIP Media Proxy® must also be deployed in the global IP address space. In this case, there are no special network configuration issues.

This configuration dialog remains for backward compatibility with earlier version of the media proxy. New user should leave this capability disabled.
