Immediate telephony events are used to:
Notify applications of actions that must be processed in a timely manner.
Offer the application data that will not persist outside of the immediate event.
Obtain application input as to how to handle a specific telephony operation.
Applications have the ability to generate events to other telephony devices. Applications also have the ability to subscribe (receive) events from other telephony devices. If you are deploying your telephony solution in conjunction with LanScape proxy/registrar support, then you also have the ability to automatically detect NAT router and Wan IP address configurations.
