When your application wants to receive event notifications from other telephony devices or other applications, your application must make a request to subscribe to a particular event offered by the other device/application.
When your application attempts to subscribe to device events using the StartEventSubscription API procedure, the following events are sent back to your application during the event subscribe process:
SipSubscriptionNotAccepted
SipSubscriptionNetworkError
SipSubscriptionRequiresAuthentication
If some other telephony device or application is configured to receive events from your application, the telephony media engine will send to your application the following event that indicates the device event that is being requested:
