Hi,
Is there any way for us to add our implemented codecs to the supported codecs? I could not find anything about this.
Regards,
Jalal

Hi Jalal,
No. There is no way for a user to “add” a custom codec to the media engine.

Then I think it would be a good option to be added for next versions. We have implemented some standard codecs for another project that I think you can add them to your supported codecs.

Hi Jalal,
Yes. To allow end user’s to supply their own codecs would be a great idea and would be cool. We already have this on our R+D list.
What specific codecs are you referring to?

Hi
We have implemented GSM Full/Half Rate, G722, G723.1. We are also working on some other codecs that may be released by end of next month. If you want please contact me directly.
Regards,
Jalal
