Hi
When we use GoOffHook to answer call, the ring tone which is played by Midia Engine on continues playing always until end of ring. This occures when OffHook is done heard from sound card. When OffHook is done between two rings then next ring will not be played and this is correct.

Hi Jalal,
We know what you are describing. The internal wave data that is used for an incoming phone ring has two rings in the audio. If you answer an incoming call during the first ring, the second ring is still heard. This is by design (to coin a Microsoft term). In other words, the incoming ring wave data is played in its entirety. We could change this if required.
When we add ring tone capability to the media engine in an upcoming release, then this will go away. End users of the media engine will then be able to define whatever ring characteristics they want.

Hi
We are waiting for your next release. We have another request on ring issue.
We need a function to mute ringing when an incoming call comes and user wants to ignore the call. We don't want reject the call using AbortIncomingCall but we just want to mute ringing.

Hi
As I said in first message of this thread ringing continues on destination node if we Off Hook during play of ring.
Another interesting thing about this is that the source point also hears the continue of the ring. This means Media Engine sends the continue of the ring to the source point after Off Hook, and the same time plays on destination Sound Card!!!
Please fix these problems in your next release as soon as possible.
