I was just checking back.

Does LanScape support call transfers via Refer Notify yet. I was able to hack a Refer Notify solution for unattended call transfers; I don’t want to have to get into the pure nightmare of trying to hack a solution for attended types.

Thanks.

Hi Fitz,

Thanks for checking back. We have not yet released REFER/NOTIFY call transfer support for unattended or attended call transfers. We have plans to do so but a hard release date has not yet been defined. We really hate to have to tell you this info because we know it impacts your development.

The next release of the Media Engine is being held off a bit due to the current work load of the R+D guys. They are busy completing a number of contracted custom VOIP development projects for some of our other customers in addition to working on upcoming product releases.

One possible way we could get REFER/NOTIFY call transfer support into the product faster (before the next official release date) would be to have your company help us offset the cost of development. It could be done on a short term contract basis or possibly a fixed bid dollar amount. If this approach sounds reasonable to your development team, repost to this thread and we can get the "ball rolling".

Repost as needed,

What do you have in mind regarding offset the development costs.

Previously it appeared we would be paying for the full amount. Is this still what you are suggesting or only payment in part?

Hi Fitz,

Sorry for the delay in this response. We will have one of our engineers contact you via email. They will be able to get you a quote for the REFER/NOTIFY project.

Repost as needed,
