Hi Paolo,

We are extremely sorry for the delay regarding this support post. It appears one of our new support employees found a way to turn off our automated support notifications we normally get from this forum. Things are now back to normal and we have reprimanded the newbie. :)

We will post an answer to your question immediately this Monday morning. We hope the delay has not impacted you.

Hi Paolo,

At the moment the Centrex Proxy server does not perform session accounting for the purposes of billing. We are working on future plans to develop native billing capabilities. We would like your input if possible.

One possible solution that other customers have used is to use the Plug-in DLL module to produce call detail records (CDRs) to a remote database or file. Your billing software then reads the CDR data and processes it accordingly.

Another possible solution for you at this time would be to obtain a billing solution that runs as its own server and forward all INVITE and BYE SIP messages from the Centrex Proxy server. This can be accomplished using the Plug-in DLL module and simply echoing all received SIP INVITE and BYE messages to your billing server. In this scenario, your billing server will have to have the capability to compute call session duration as appropriate.

Repost as needed,
