I am interested in your product. I want to enclose a softphone in my application, working with Asterisk. To know if your product is suitable I would like to have a demo softphone program, to try the quality of the conversation. I have tried your source but having difficulty getting it working. To save time it is better to test a ready sample. Important for me it the alaw codec, and to disable the voice activity detection.

Thank you for contacting LanScape regarding the VOIP Media Engine.

You should be able to build and use any of the demo applications that come with the product to perform your evaluation. You should have no problems doing this.

Among the sample applications that come with the product, there is a single line softphone and a dual line softphone. If you just build the release or debug versions of these two apps, either one will allow you to initiate and receive calls through an Asterisk box.

Please elaborate on what exactly is the problem you face. That way we will fully assist you so that you can properly perform your evaluation.
