Hi,

I have been working on my own application that uses LanScape VoIP Media Engine (trial version) for a few days now, and everything worked fine. But now, for some unknown reason, my application refuses to make a call, eventhough I haven't changed any parts of the code that would deal with the Media Engine. It's the same with the sample applications that come along with the Media Engine (I end up listening to a never ending dialing, if I want to call somewhere) - receiving calls doesn't work either. Strangely enough I can still use most of other functions that Media Engine offers (such as audio recording).

The configuration of my computer, the codes, and everything else is completely the same as it was when everything still worked fine.

I have uninstalled/installed the whole engine, but the only result is that now the sample applications don't even start anymore (as if hadn't have had the correct microcode installed, eventhough I have)...what could possibly be the reason for my troubles?

Thanks in advance,
Blaz

Hi Blaz,

The trial version of the VOIP Media Engine will only run for 30 days from the time we issue you a trial license.

Sounds like your trial test period is over. I looked up your original trial request and you should still have more time. It appears you did something on your development machine that triggered the expiration. We will send you another trial license (the microcode file). After that you will have to consider purchasing your own valid license. :)

When you receive the updated "C" file, repost to this thread and tell us if this updated license fixes your problem.

Excellent, the updated "C" file really did help! I see the advantages of purchasing the valid licence already :)

Thank you for your time & great support!
