Hello Sales Department,
About SDK, I'm interested do buy it, but I have some questions.
1 - What codecs this SDK supports?
2 - Is this possible to add codecs that I bought(G729 and others) to SDK?
3 - Do you have some version of SDK that treats only voice conversion? Because I developed all SIP transaction, and comunication with USB phones.
4 - After bought this SDK, how is your support plan, upgrades and bug correction? If I had encountered a bug how do I repport this?
5 - Can I contact your develop department?
6 - Why SDK charges royalties for its use?
Thanks for your attention,
Sorry for wrong e-mail.

Hi Rodolfo,
Thanks for contacting LanScape regarding the VOIP Media Engine. You have asked some very important question. We are sure other users will find this information useful.
Item 1 and 2:
What codecs are supported -
Your questions regarding current codec support has been answered in the following forum post:
Codec Support in Lanscape
Also, Please monitor our web site for when we release the low bit rate codec support for the VOIP Media Engine.
Item 3:
Voice conversion only -
Sorry, No. :(
We would be very interested in obtaining a description of what you need for your "voice conversion only" support. If you can, please send an email to support 'at' lanscapecorp.com and elaborate on what you want to do. Be as specific as you can. We have relied on customer input to make this product better and your input is very helpful. In the past, we have create "custom special" versions of the VOIP Media Engine for other customers. If you identify a product capability that makes sence for us to implement, we will certantly consider your request.
Item 4:
Support Plan -
After a customer makes a purchase, we supply support for as long as you use the product. You use the online web support forum area to ask your questions and get responses from us. For mor information, see the following location:
New LanScape Customers - Please Read!
Upgrades -
We are in the process of determining the upgrade path for the VOIP Media Engine. At this time all we can say is that upgrading to a new version will be possible for a nominal fee.
Bug Corrections -
If you know that you have identified a bug, you will post your information to the VOIP Media Engine support area. Our support personnel and/or developers will get involved to verify the problem and to identify a tentative solution. A solution might involve using a "work around" or other fix. If a viable "work around" cannot be identified, then you must wait for the issue to be resolved in the next maintenance release of the product.
Item 5:
Contacting our development staff -
All of your support questions will go through the web support forum. If our support personel cannot answer your questions, then developers get involved. Response turn around time is usually short.
Item 6:
Royalties -
We do not charge royalties for the VOIP Media Engine. You purchase your license and use it for a single application. Distribute as many copies of your application as you like. For more info, see the "Licensing Requirements" section of the following product page:
