Hi Support:
For latest V6 engineering release of media engine, it natively add customed header "X-VOIP-SDK" into transmitted SIP request. So I don't hope to see this. How to remove it? According to my evaluation, previous media engine have no this feature, it is only V6 to perform it.
Secondly, for Invite request SDP portion, attribute 's' is set to "LanScape", I also hope to change into generic stuffs, not your company logo or brand. Of course, if media engine provides API procedure to change it, it is best.

Hi George,

The “X-VOIP-SDK:” header will remain and you will not be able to remove it unless your company wants to license a “non-branded version” of the media engine.

The session name in the SDP we don’t care about. You can change it by directly manipulating the ready-to-be transmitted SIP message using the SipModifySipMessage event and the ModifySipMessage() API procedure. If you don’t want to do that, then we will have to add API support for what you want to do.

Thanks,

Support

Hi Support:
I think "X-VOIP-SDK:" header also can be modified by ModifySipMessage API procedure upon event callback, isn't it?

Can your company license “non-branded version” of the media engine? How about its price? Is it same as normal one in terms of licensing charge?

I prefer there is API for changing session name in SDP portion of SIP message.
