Hi,

when I start the example application SingleLine Phone.exe I get the following error message:

---------------------------
Example Application Error
---------------------------
A fatal error was detected while booting this example application.
Before you build and test these application examples, make sure
you copy your "Media Engine Microcode/Personality Data" file into
the \Software Examples\Microcode folder. The media engine microcode file
you received is named LanScapeVME.C. You should have received this file on
a 3.5" floppy disk image that came along with your installation CDROM.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

The LanScapeVME.C and LanScape VOIP Media Engine Trial.lic are located at

C:\Programme\LanScape\VOIP Media Engine\5.12\Software Examples\Microcode

I guess I miss something important.

Best regards

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your post.

When you received your trial product license stuff in the ZIP file, you should have received a valid LanScapeVME.C file.

You must copy the LanScapeVME.C you received to the location:

C:\Program Files\LanScape\VOIP Media Engine\5.12\Software Examples\Microcode

and overwrite the default image that is there. The default image contains all zeros and is a bogus file.

When you start the pre-built samples, you should be able to tell the samples where to read the LanScapeVME.C license file and they should function.

If they do not function, just try rebuilding all of them after you copy over your valid LanScapeVME.C file. That should definitely make things better

Repost if problems persist,
