With your SKD would it be possible to develop a outbound auto-dialer? If so, what would the calls per second capability?
Is there a per developer seat cost?

Hi Craig,
Thank you for posting your questions to the support forum. We will try and answer your question one at a time.

Yes, definitely.

Sorry Craig. Due to the large number of variables that affect performance, we do not publish specific specs for the Media Engine. Some day we may release normalized performance data but it is not available at the moment. This number depends on the speed of the host PC hardware and the operating system. The number of calls is directly related to how fast a new call thread can be started on the host PC. If you want to perform benchmarking with one of our high line count version, let us know and we can get you a "special" trial.

No. There is however a "per application” licensing cost. For more details see the following URL:
http://www.lanscapecorp.com/ProductPages/LanScapeVoipMediaEn gine.asp
Look for the "Licensing Requirements" section".
If you have further pre sales related questions, don’t hesitate to post them to this pre sales forum area.
Thanks Craig!

A high line count version would be great. Do you know of C# wrapper for the LMEVoip.dll?

Hi Craig,
Regarding the C+ wrapper:
Check out this post. We discussed when we might be releasing a managed wrapper for the media engine.

What I can tell you is that the developers are working on the .NET support right now as we speak. I think we will probably be releasing the .NET assembly/support as soon as we get it completed and debugged. That way we will not have to wait for it to be fully integrated into the final product image. Stay tuned….

Craig,
OK. Use the LanScape license manager app from this page:
http://www.lanscapecorp.com/ASP%20Files/VoipTestDrive.asp
... and request a normal product trial. Use the same email you used to create your support forum user account.
When we get your trial request, we will have you FTP download the 32 line trial.
Thanks,
Support
