hi
i need to as a few questions regarding the codec support
- Is g.729 supported in the sdk
- What if its not supported is the framework flexible enough that i can add support for specific codec in my application.
- Is the noice detctiona and echo cancellation issues resolved .
- Issues due to low band codec like g.729

Do tell me in advance any other issues that is not mentioned here .

G729 is not yet supported. We are working to complete the inclusion of iLBC and G729 low bit rate codec support in the next product release. Customers who purchase the VOIP Media Engine at this time will be notified when the next release is available. Customers purchasing on or after October 10, 2005 will receive free upgrades when available.

Not at this time. All codec support is built into the product. By the way, this is a great question. We have considered supporting a generic codec interface in the API but have not finalized definite plans.

What issues are you referring to? Are you referring to DTMF signaling support? You will have to repost and be more specific so we can attempt to answer your question accurately.
