Hi

Is there any way to assign different names for different lines? For example

line(0)<- TestName100
line(1)<- TestName101
line(2)<- TestName102
line(3)<- TestName103
...

This is useful for us to assign different tasks to different IVR lines. When registering to SIP Proxy using EnableSipRegisterServer I can assign different names but all of the names will be used for all of the lines.

Thanks
Jalal Abedinejad

Hi Jalal,

You are correct. The Media Engine can use one or more names when registering but when calls are received, the Media Engine will try to assign the incoming call to any available phone line.

The Media Engine cannot register a specific name for a specific phone line. I have entered an engineering change notice so that we may offer this capability in a later release.

Update Notice:

The capability to register individual phone lines has been implemented in v5.12 of the VOIP Media Engine.

We will be releasing v5.12 shortly.
