Hi

When any of the samples (even simple console application) is executed the cpu usage goes above 30% and does not return below 30% until the program is terminated or SIPTelephony is stopped.

My system's platform is :

MS Windows 2000 professional SP4
512 MB RAM
Intel Celeron 2.4 GHz CPU

I also tested on windows 2003. The situation is a little better but the CPU usage does not become less than 10% even when there is no connection.

What's your opinion about this?

Thanks

Jalal,

We do not see this behavior here. When any of the example applications are started, they should just sit there doing nothing - assuming no calls are active.

We (and other customers) have many other real work application built around the media engine and do not have any problems with high CPU utilization.

I tested the samples on two other computers. Unfortunately the cpu usage is between 5% and 10% even when all phone lines are in idle state.

If it is possible test v5.11 samples yourself for CPU usage again.

Thanks for your support
