I'm running the MultiLine Phone sample in C# 2005. When it
gets to the EnableSipRegisterServer call it fails with a
timeout. Looking at the network packets with Wireshark I
see that it's sending the REGISTER UDP packet to a
different (and apparently random) address from that passed
in the RegistrationServerAddress parameter. Also it is
using the RegistrationServerPort as the source UDP port
rather than the destination port. A working softphone (X-
Lite) uses the correct destination address and port and
registers successfully. Please advise, thanks.

Hello Geoff,
Thank you for your post. It has been busy here and I am just getting caught up with free support issues…
Your issue sounds like the media engine trial has timed out. If you need another trial, go ahead and make a new trial request. Or better yet, purchase a media engine license before the end of 2009! :)
In the mean time, please post the SIP traffic for the LS C# multi-line soft phone example. If I can see your SIP, I will know exactly if your trial timed out or if it is some other dumb issue.
Thank you and Happy Holidays,
Randal

I think the trial has probably expired. Unfortunately since getting the trial I've had very little time to work on this project, so I'll ask for a further trial if that's OK. I've separately emailed the packet capture when registering to "supportgroup" 'at' "lanscapecorp" 'dot' com in case there's another problem.
Thanks,
Geoff

Hello Geoff,
Obtaining another trial is OK. I know how it is to be pressed for time.
We will get your new trial out today...
Have a happy holiday.
Thank you,
Randal
