          Hello Support Team,

I'm trying to figure out how to use SingleLine Phone.exe to call a PSTN phone. How do I have to enter the international phone number?

 Regards,

 Jan Deinhard

It depends on how your VOIP proxy/domain controller handles the calls and how it performs call routing. We assume you are registering your phone with a proxy or similar server.

You should be able to simply add the call destination to the example soft phone’s address book - AddressBookData.txt

For example: If you wanted to call 734-930-3030 in the united states, add the following to the address book:

 "sip:1-734-930-3030@yourdomain.com:5060"

Depending on your server, you may have to prefix the whole number with routing or trunking digit(s).

I want to call a german phone. The number looks like this "+494211234567" or "00494211234567". Where do I have to put the '-' chracters. My SIP provider has the domain sipgate.de, port 5060.

You should not have to worry about '-' characters in the phone number.

Post a SIP log that is created by the sample soft phone and we will look at it.

If you already have your phone registered with sipgate using authentication then we should be able to figure out how to make calls via their PSTN gateway(s).

The SIP log from your soft phone will really help.
