Greetings,
We are interested in using your product in our system, but
we are in need of some pre-sales support.
Do you support SRTP, TLS (for sip) and IPv6?
Thanks,
Clint

A few more questions for you.
Do you have PRACK support?
With some of the switches we integrate with, we occasionally need more access to the sip headers that you
might typically expect. Do you provide lower level access
for when we need to tie in?
Would there be any opportunity for some form of source
code license?
Thanks for your help,
Clint

Are you planning any x64 support for your binaries?

Clint,
Thanks for your post.
We add functionality to the LME software as needed based on customer requests and our own development needs.
SRTP:
Not supported at this time. Would have to discuss this further. All secure RTP applications we have completed were based on us encrypting RTP media at the app level by accessing the RTP media streams via the LME software. All custom encryption.
TLS:
Not supported. I will have to see how TLS impacts the LME's use of UDP packet transfers.
IPv6:
Currently not supported but we know this will eventually be required. All socket support in the LME is pretty well abstracted so adding IPv6 support should go pretty smooth.
PRACK:
No PRACK. This would not be terrible to add to the LME if absolutely required. We will have to determine what provisional responses we would initially like to support and implement PRACK for those SIP messages. I can see this being implemented cleanly with the current LME code base.
Low level SIP message access:
The LME allows your app to access all SIP messages. Your app has to parse the SIP itself but you do have access to tall SIP (tx and rx).
Source code license:
Yes. Terms TBD.
x64 support:
Yes we will eventually support 64 bit builds. This will be scheduled after we release the 32 bit Mac/Linux versions of the LME. Not sure of exact time frame for 64 bit release.
We received your email too. Looks like we can answer all your questions in this forum.
Repost if we missed anything.

Greetings RJ,
We build a solution for the US DoD, hence all my security
questions.
We would like to talk some more about the implementation
of the things I've noted above. Would you like to
schedule a call with us?
Also, what kind of simultaneous call connectivity have
you been able to get out of a single box?
Thanks for your help. We look forward to hearing from
you.
Clint

Clint,
Yes, we can discuss further via phone conversation. I am out of the office until this Wednesday so we will have to wait until this next Thursday or Friday at the earliest.
Port density per “box” (the number of simultaneous calls) varies depending on the underlying hardware and network connection speeds. Sorry for being vague but it does vary depending on hardware. Port density is not limited by the LME software however.
Let’s set up a call for later this week or next week to discuss further.
