Hello!

What does
256 - $1,799.95 license let me?

This means that
I mean that if I buy this license I can use all 256 open lines on one machine? that would work as call center? how many sip accounts I have to create on that one machine, is one enough?
About license:
With one license can I use this product on as many machines as I want and all machines would have 256 connections simultaneously?

The answer is yes if: You are developing your own VOIP application for resale or for your own company’s use. See this recent post that discusses further:

VOIP Media Engine Licensing

Also, licensing details are located here on the web:

If you have further questions regarding licensing, just repost as needed.

Thanks tomach!

Usually in normal scenario You need have to register in the sip proxy, my question is can you maintain 256 lines from one proxy sip account?

next question.
do you offer any dll library that I can easily use in .Net with C#?

Hi tomach,

We must be having a bad day at LanScape support – we still do not understand your question. Sorry – it’s our fault.

If you are going to use a 256 line VOIP Media engine, then you can either have the media engine register 1 UA user name for all the phone lines or have it register 256 individual UA names for each line. Does that help?

As for the .NET support: We are glad you asked. We are very excited about supporting the managed .NET languages. We are working at this moment to complete a managed wrapper assembly that will allow all .NET languages to access the cool features and capabilities of the VOIP Media Engine.

We estimate that we will release this capability by March 9th (or possibly by the 16th) 2007. With any luck and skill it will be sooner. It will be great when we all can select our .NET language of choice and use the new Visual Studio 2005 development environment and the LanScape VOIP Media Engine to develop our own specific VOIP applications. It will be very cool.

Repost as required,

Hello!

Thanks for your answer!
Yes I am interested in making all the phone lines from one user account. So you understood my question very well :).

About this wrapper assembly, I understand that price would be the same for 256 line VOIP Medai engine, there will not be additional fee for .net support?

Best Regards,

Hi tomach,

Yes, you are correct. The current pricing will still be in effect when we release the .NET support.
