The MuteRecordAudio procedure can be used to mute recorded (microphone) audio that comes from local multimedia hardware. If locally recorded audio is muted, the host machine's recorded audio will not be transmitted out any of the media engine phone lines when VOIP calls are active.

To mute recorded audio, set this value to true.

Return Value

If the function succeeds, the return value will be SipSuccess.

If the function fails, the return value will be one of the following values as specified by the VoipMediaEngine..::.TELEPHONY_RETURN_VALUE data type.
